After 29 years of honing his techniques in creating exquisitely made, figure enhancing gowns, Yemi Osunkoya has emerged as the ‘go to’ designer of African descent for couture Bridal wear.

The designer behind the Kosibah label renowned for his ability to sculpt, enhance and celebrate the female form with his gowns recently won the PRIDE OF AFRICA Award at Africa Fashion Week Barcelona. He was selected by the panel of AFWB members for his endless creative contribution in the Fashion industry. He was also selected to be amongst one of the 100+ Achievers in the Black 100+ Achievers Exhibition. A photographic exhibition to record the achievements of professional Black people in modern Britain.

The designs, made from individual body measurements, use luxurious fabrics, sumptuous embellishments and couture techniques. They appeal to discerning clients who are accustomed to luxury products of the highest standards. 

Kosibah also design Evening gowns and gowns suitable for brides to change into as a Reception or going-away outfit.

Kosibah gowns are made to order. All gowns are designed and made in the UK. Visits to the Kosibah studio are by appointment only.
